The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and his Tunisian counterpart, Hisham Al-Mashishi, opened Sunday the Libyan-Tunisian economic exhibition in the presence of several officials from both countries.

The exhibition will go on for three days at Tripoli International Fair in the presence of 170 firms and 1200 businesspersons. Dbeibah and Al-Mashishi toured the exhibition to see the different showcased products.

The Minister of Economy, Mohammed Al-Huweij, said the joint exhibition of Tunisian products was part of the willingness to increase trade exchange between the two countries to reach two billion dollars in the short term, in addition to increasing joint investments in energy, technology and cross-border trade.

Al-Mashishi arrived in Libya on Saturday upon Dbeibah’s invitation. He arrived wirh a delegation of officials and about 100 businesspersons to take part in the economic exhibition in Tripoli.
