The Libyan National Center for Disease Control has announced registering two new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing the total to three COVID-19 patients.

The center said one case was reported at Al-Hikma Hospital in Misrata and the second was at the Reference Laboratory in Tripoli.

A source said that the Misrata case is a woman in her thirties and she has never been abroad, which indicates that she has gotten the Coronavirus from inside Libya.

The second case, according to the same source, is a man in his forties and he has lodged himself at the Reference Laboratory once he has felt the symptoms.

Last Tuesday, Libya recorded the first Coronavirus case for a 73-year-old man who came from Saudi Arabia via Tunisia on March 05, according to Health Minister's announcement.

26 of his close family members had been tested for the novel Coronavirus, but they had all received negative results and none of them had contracted the virus.
