Representatives from the Libyan Red Crescent and neighboring countries have agreed to boost cooperation in preventive measures against Coronavirus outbreak, saying they will form "Libyan Neighboring Countries Club" that will help limit the impact of the pandemic and boost response actions on border towns.

The agreement came in a workshop in Algeria hosted by the Red Crescent in Algiers in partnership with the Libyan Red Crescent in the presence of neighboring countries' Red Crescent offices as well as Mali's. The workshop was attended by representatives from international organizations and humanitarian missions.

The Red Crescent in Libya said on Facebook on Sunday that their representatives were headed by the Deputy Secretary General, Head of Media Office, Head of Legal Office, and Head of Red Crescent Branch Office in Ghat, adding they also organized a photo gallery for the activities done in Libya.
