The Special Deterrence Force of the Ministry of Interior deported on Wednesday 8 Tunisian nationals suspected of having links to ISIS.

The 8 suspects were detained by the force and deported via Mitiga Airport in Tripoli. The SDF did not specify when and where the IS suspects were arrested.

Libyan government reports indicated that most of IS militants here came from neighbouring Tunisia, while authorities there attached the terrorist attacks on the Tunisian soil to Libya to cover their inability to deter unrest.

On Saturday, the Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced the completion of the first part of a 250km barrier along the border with Libya, aimed to deter terrorism. Ironically, Libya has suffered much under the influx of Tunisian terrorists who carried out most of the terror acts in Libya.

The south of Tunisia suffer from unemployment and see Libya as the best place to seek prosperous life as there is no travel restriction between both countries.
