Libya Post Company has signed with its Algerian counterpart a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the two sides.

The company said on Facebook that the memorandum aims to strengthen and support cooperation in the postal field, improve and develop the postal service between the two parties, and provide consultations to raise the quality and digitization of postal services.

The chairman of the board of directors of Libya Post and the director-general of the Algerian Post signed the MoU on the sidelines of the 41st session of the Permanent Arab Post Committee in Algiers.

The agreement allows the transfer of experiences through preparing courses, digital mail service, and mail relay.

The two sides are also seeking through the MoU to develop a marketing plan to improve the courier service, exchange remittances, and promote philatelic and related products.
