The Head of the UNSMIL, Bernardino Leon, has called all Libyan parties to return to Skhirat, Morocco, to continue the dialogue, pointing out that Thursday’s round will begin with discussion of the candidates of the proposed national unity government.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Leon urged all Libyan parties to quicken the pace of the negotiations and discussions so that the unity government can be formed on September 20 at the most.

“So, without impositions, in a spirit of cooperation, in a spirit of working together to overcome the crisis in Libya we very much hope that all the parties will be ready to start this discussion by Thursday.” Leon said.

Meanwhile, Leon had already met with the Libyan independent members, who are participating in the Skhirat dialogue, and discussed with them Thursday’s round points.
