The HCS has hailed the release of the member after "joint efforts that turned out very fruitful at the end."

The HCS issued a statement on Wednesday condemning the kidnap of Al-Treki from his house by an armed group loyal to "Dignity Operation of Khalifa Haftar".

Gunmen kidnapped Tuesday the member of the High Council of State (HCS) Mustafa Al-Treki from Al-Matrad area in western Al-Zawiya city.
