Khalifa Haftar's air force militia conducted an airstrike against the so-called Petroleum Facility Guard, Ibrahim Jodran's de facto armed groups, in south Ajdabiya in the early hours of Wednesday.

Sources said the airstrike took place at around 1.00 a.m with no casualties reported.

Following the airstrike, angry protesters went to the streets of Ajdabiya, Brega, Bisher and Ras Lanouf to denounce the airstrike.

"We strongly condemn the barbaric brutal airstrike of the so-called Haftar against our sons," a statement by Bisher protesters reads.

"Haftar is a criminal and a tyrant," shout the protesters while firing gunshots into the air.

Protesters in Ajdabiya said all options are on the table and held Khalifa Haftar's operation room in the city responsible for masterminding the airstrike.

There is also a call for a mass protest in Ajdabiya later today against Khalifa Haftar and his Dignity Operation.

Ibrahim Jodran's armed groups are at odds with Khalifa Haftar and his Dignity Operation, which accuses them of facilitating the arrival of Defend Benghazi Brigades and Ajdabiya Liberation Room forces to south Ajdabiya and taking over Dignity Operation camps there.
