ISIS is on verge of collapse in Libya's Sirte

The media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos said its forces advanced Sunday into the residential areas 1 and 3, which are the last hideouts of IS terrorists in Sirte, adding that it had controlled key positions after fierce clashes with IS militants.

After heavy shelling on residential areas 1 and 3 this morning, the forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos advanced taking hold of Al-Ribatt mosque, Sahara Bank and HQs as well as the former building of Internal Security Agency which is used as a jail by IS now, in addition to district 1000 housing units, Al-Naqa neighborhood, district 200 housing units, Sirte polyclinic and the insurance building.

“Many IS militants were caught including women after storming into IS field hospital and other locations.” Media sources reported.

Misrata hospital announced that 11 killed fighters from Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos arrived along with 97 wounded ones in the hospital, saying some injuries are serious while others are minor.

Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos has closed in on IS militants leaving them stranded in some streets and nooks in residential areas 1 and 3 after today’s clashes.
