Derna Shura Council and allied forces from Al-Bayda retreated from some positions in Al-Fatayah region due to a lack of ammunition, sources declared.
The sources said ISIS militants launched an early morning attack on Shura fighters in Al-Hilah frontline, taking advantage of the siege imposed by Khalifa Haftar militias on Derna, which cut arms and ammunition supply to Shura fighters.
The Shura fighters decided to retreat to save lives in the light of ammunition shortages.
Last week, Khalifa Haftar militias killed and burned 3 Shura fighters from Al-Bayda in Al-Gubbah town.
