The Libyan Foreign Minister of the Presidential Council's government, Mohammed Sayala, has discussed with his Indian counterpart, Sushma Swaraj, mutual relations, including the possibility of allowing Indian workers to work, as before, in Libya's public sectors.

The Head of the media office of the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Al-Arabad, said Saturday that Sayala thanked his Indian counterpart for the permission her country gave to its nationals to work in Libyan state-owned firms.

He added that Sayala and Swaraj reviewed measures to boost the relations between Libya and India.

The office explained that the Indian FM also promised to discuss with Indian authorities the possibility of allowing Indians to work in Libyan private sectors as well.

The meeting between the two took place on the margins of the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Azerbaijan.

Sayala is taking part at the 18th Non-Aligned Movement ministerial meeting that is taking place in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.
