Human Rights Solidarity (HRS) said Benghazi was the most violent city in Libya in the first nine months of 2019, registering 192 victims.

HRS said 818 victims were documented in the first nine months and that September was the most violent of all with 169 casualties.

The organization said in its report that 304 people had been killed and 279 people have forcefully disappeared.

After Benghazi, regarding murders and kidnapping crimes, comes Murzuq with 85 casualties, then Tripoli with 67, the report adds.

It said the casualties of murder and assassination hit 43% out of the total number in the first nine months this year, followed by 31% of assassinations and 18% of kidnappings.

HRS indicated that 279 victims are missing to join hundreds of forcefully disappeared persons over the last years, adding that its report is predicated on official and media organizations and that it doesn't include casualties at military clashes' zones.
