The House of Representatives (HoR) suspended on Tuesday its session in Tobruk to discuss the political roadmap.

The HoR is heading to adopt a long-term roadmap for the coming stage and refused to hold elections in January, according to the proposal of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC ), according to some sources from the HoR.

According to the same sources, the HoR will also discuss the file of sovereign positions with a change of government within the new roadmap for the next stage.

The roadmap committee formed by the HoR issued a statement Tuesday after its meeting with the HoR, confirming its intention to communicate with all Libyan parties to expand the base of participation to reach the presidential and parliamentary elections.

It also decided to summon the chairman and members of the HNEC in the next session to review the obstacles that faced the electoral process, in addition to voting to consider the UK ambassador a persona non grata.
