The spokesman for the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) Abdullah Blehiq said the upcoming session will be held Monday in Tobruk to discuss the answers of the Government of National Unity to the HoR questions of last Wednesday and then decide on the outcome.

Blehiq said whether or not the HoR will withdraw confidence in the government is contingent on if the MPs were convinced by the answers and if the decision was to withdraw confidence, alternatives would be discussed immediately.

He added that the session will discuss parliamentary elections law and the legislations that had been proposed before, including national security, protection of Man-Made River, budge bill, and cyber security.

Last Wednesday, the HoR questioned the government on many issues, including electricity outages, Coronavirus response, unification of state institutions and the withdrawal of foreign mercenaries as well as oil sector performance.
