The Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, invited the Prime Minister-designate, Fathi Bashagha, and a number of sovereign state institutions, to hold a session at the HoR’s headquarters in Sirte next Tuesday.

According to a brief statement by the office of the Speaker, the invitation included the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives, the Board of Directors of the Central Bank, the Administrative Control Authority, the Audit Bureau, the Minister of Planning and Finance, the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation and the Anti-Corruption Authority. The agenda of the meeting wasn't announced in the brief statement.

A few days ago, the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, chaired a similar meeting, which included the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbiebah, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq  Al-Kabir, the Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, the Head of the Audit Bureau,Khaled Shakshak, and the Head of the Financia Committee of the House of Representatives to discuss opportunities to achieve the highest levels of transparency in handling state revenues and expenditures.
