Heads of local councils in Benghazi invited Wednesday the Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, to visit the city, reviewing in a meeting in Tripoli with Dbeibah the issues facing Benghazi residents.

The meeting saw also discussions about the displaced people's problems, crisis of drinking water and the burden on residents because of the poor public services; including road work, medical treatment and purchasing drinking water.

The Heads of local councils hoped the Government of National Unity would handle these issues and urged Dbeibah to instruct concerned institutions to provide the necessary services to people in Benghazi.

On April 25, Khalifa Haftar's forces prevented a Government of National Unity delegation from entering Benghazi and blocked the arrival of Dbeibah and his cabinet who wanted to convene in the city.
