The head of the Investigations Bureau at the Attorney General's Office, Siddiq Al-Sour, has requested the Higher Judicial Council to dismiss council member, Nasr Ali Hassan, who is currently Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, until completing investigations with him.

This came in a statement issued by the Office of the Attorney General, in which it pointed to the reports filed against Hassan in his capacity as head of Administrative Control Authority, adding that these violations were committed in the course of his function.

Al-Sour pointed out that the investigations were conducted after obtaining permission from the competent authority.

Earlier, Nasr Hassan ordered lifting the immunity of the Head of the High Council of State (HCS) Khalid Al-Mishri who called the order as illegal and a violation of the laws and the internal codes of the HCS.
