The President of the High Council of State Khaled Al-Mishri said on Saturday that any outreach efforts with parties of Libyan crisis, whether it was collectively or individually, outside the framework of the political agreement and the Paris agreement does not reflect the stances of the Council.

"The Council is committed to the outcomes of the Paris Declaration, which stresses that the political agreement is the only framework for the political process in the country," Al-Mashri stated on the Council's Facebook page.

He explained that the Paris agreement considers any institutions parallel to the institutions emanating from the political agreement are illegal and in the ruling of cancellations.

Council member Ahmed Lenqi had revealed earlier that a delegation from the High Council of State is to meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aqeelah Saleh in Cairo, during this week.
