Social media outlets have circulated footage for military reinforcements sent by Khalid Haftar to his headquarters in Al-Marj town's Chinese buildings. The convoy included 50 armed vehicles to be added to a force of about 35 armed vehicles located inside the headquarters.

According to local sources from Benghazi, Haftar’s two sons issued arrest warrants for Abdel Fattah Al-Nathori: the son of Abdelrazik Al-Nathori, who is the Chief of General Staff of Haftar’s forces. Al-Nathori's son demanded alert by his 115th Brigade, as mediation between the two parties to avoid an armed clash was ongoing.

News reports indicated that there was a state of traffic congestion in the city of Al-Marj in eastern Libya due to the dispute between Haftar and Al-Nathori sons' tensions.

The Chief of Staff of what was known as Dignity Operation in east Libya, Al-Nathori, previously issued a decision to promote his son Abdel Fattah to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the army, so he could command the 115th Brigade, following decisions by Haftar to promote his sons Saddam and Khalid to the rank of "colonel".
