The media office of Volcano of Rage Operation said Wednesday that Khalifa Haftar's forces breached the ceasefire agreement again by targeting Mitiga Airport in Tripoli with six Grad rockets leading to the suspension of flights for hours.

The media office reported the spokesman for the Libyan Army Mohammed Gununu as confirming Haftar's forces attack on Mitiga Airport in Tripoli without reported damages or casualties, saying the attack by Haftar's forces was a threat to air traffic and new violation of the ceasefire.

Meanwhile, the management of Mitiga Airport suspended flights briefly after the attack, redirecting some flights to Misrata before resuming flights.

Haftar's forces have been involved in daily violations of the ceasefire on frontlines, especially on Salah Al-Deen and Airport Road in south Tripoli, where artillery shelling was heard.

The two sides of the conflict in Tripoli agreed on January 12 to a ceasefire proposed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 08, yet Haftar didn't sign the agreement on paper in Moscow Las week, while the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj signed it.
