The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, has confirmed to the Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, Greece's full support for Libya and keenness to boost cooperation in areas of joint interest.
The Greek Foreign Minister's remarks came in a meeting with Menfi at the Libyan embassy in Athens upon the latter's invitation.
The Greek Foreign Minister said that his country will be organizing an iftar event for the Libyan Foreign Minister with the European Union’s Foreign Ministers.
Meanwhile, Menfi hailed Greece's support for the Libyan political process and reiterated the importance of joint cooperation in different fields, praising as well the results of his discussions with Greek officials over the last days, according to the media office of the Presidential Council.
