The General National Congress has expressed appreciation for the successive international efforts that aim at uniting the Libyans, which would be of great significance to all. Commenting on the UNSMIL’s draft yesterday, the GNC reiterated its full commitment to the dialogue, which represents a strategic way out of the crisis, by preserving the unity of the country’s social components and acting upon the Islamic teachings as well as the February 17 principles. The GNC said that it distributed the UNSMIL’s draft that was delivered in Skhirat, Morocco, to the GNC members for evaluation and standpoints, stressing that the draft would be then previewed in the GNC’s next week session in Tripoli. “The calls of the demonstrators, who have furnished the public squares for respective 45 Fridays, and the front line revolutionaries as well as the patriotic Libyans will be taken into account while approving the UNSMIL’s final draft.” The GNC concluded.
