Fuel truck drivers continue their sit-in, for the second day in a row, in protest of the difficulties and danger they face on the roads, the Brega Oil Marketing Company has said.

In a statement on its official Facebook page, on Saturday, the company appealed to the security and all relevant authorities in the state to intervene and look into the drivers' demands.

It emphasized the need to provide security and the right conditions for the drivers to ensure the continued supply of fuel to the stations, the distribution companies, and all vital service facilities that directly affect the lives of people.

Brega explained that transporting fuel and its derivatives is conducted by associations and private companies, explaining that drivers are subjected to constant harassment during their journey.

The company confirmed the availability of all types of fuel in its warehouses, stressing the need to combine efforts to find a radical solution to the transporting problem.
