The war-torn city has been plunged into political murder

A car bomb went off outside a mosque in Al-Majori district in Benghazi on Friday leaving 8 people wounded.

Eyewitnesses said  the car bomb exploded outside Abu Horira Mosque where former interior minister Ashor Shuwail was performing the Friday prayer.

Ashor Shuwail, his son and six others were wounded in the explosion as they were leaving the mosque, the eyewitnesses added.
