The Field Medicine and Support Center has opened an investigation into an incident concerning the insult of the war-wounded soldier Mahmoud Al-Dulaih by a top official in the committee supervising the wounded in Turkey.

The supervisor of the war-wounded committee in Turkey Muhammad Najouma appeared in a video talking about Al-Dulaih in inappropriate language and calling him a handicapped and blind person.

The Field Medicine and Support Center underscored that it is it following the incident with great interest reaffirming that all its administrative and technical cadres are at the service of the wounded in recognition of their rights and sacrifices.

"The sacrifices of these heroes are a trust placed with us and a source of pride," the statement said, underlining that any encroachment on their rights is inviolability.

The social media platform circulated a video clip of Muhammad Najouma, in which he describes the wounded Mahmoud Al-Dulaih in disgraceful terms while saying that he deserves what he got. "He is nothing but a blind handicapped but the media made him a hero," he said.

Al-Dulaih was seriously injured, lost his brother and his eyesight while dismantling a landmine from a residential area that was planted by Haftar's militias and the Wagner Group southern Tripoli.
