An Egyptian Parliament Member called Murtada Mansour, said in a televised phone interview on an Egyptian TV channel that his country's airstrikes must target Misrata in western Libya, not elsewhere.

"Not Derna and not other city, we should annihilate Misrata along with all those who people it." Mansour said out loud on air.

He told the TV channel that all the Libyan "terrorists" come from Misrata and all the shelling and strikes take off from Misrata airbase, which he alleged is being run and funded by Qatar and Turkey.

"Qatar and Turkey are sending weapons to Misrata fighters." He claimed, before he lashed out at Qatari Prince and his mother.

"Like the Saudis did in Yemen when they felt threatened by Houthis, we should do the same as terrorism is coming to Egypt from Libya." Mansour indicated.

He also extended his words to Egypt's Presidents Al-Sisi, telling him: "Misrata, our target is Misrata, and all Libyans know that. We should support Khalifa Haftar and his army to help annihilate Misrata."

At least 28 Coptic Christians were killed and dozens more wounded on Friday by terrorists who attacked them while they were travelling to a monastery in Egypt's Minya province.

IS terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack earlier on Saturday.

The Egyptian air force targeted Libya's Derna city in the eastern region with six air raids hitting allegedly locations of "terrorists" whom it said had been a part of the recent attack on Minya Copts, which is actually nonsensical as the Egyptian air force should have targeted IS militants in Wilayat Sinai in the Sinai peninsula, according to many observers.

Moreover, the Egyptian President and air force leaders seem to have been intentionally oblivious to the fact that Derna fighters and locals have themselves eradicated IS from their city.
