Spokesperson of Dignity Operation Ahmed Al-Mismari threatened on Saturday to bomb a tourist hotel in Hun in central Libya, alleging it has become a hub for terrorism.

Speaking in his weekly press conference, Al-Mismari said Alwahat Hotel in Hun town, 289 km south of Sirte, has become a legitimate target for their air force.

He warned local residents to stay away from the hotel, claiming it harbors a number of terrorist groups.

“The hotel is being used by Defend Benghazi Brigades as an operation room and as a depot for arms and ammunition,” he claimed.

The threat comes in retaliation for the downing of Dignity Operation’s mi-35 attack helicopter on Friday in which three pilots were killed.

“Our response to the terrorist groups would be tough,” he declared.

Defend Benghazi Brigades released a video Saturday showing the downing of the helicopter.
