Prime Minister of Tobruk Government, Abdullah Al-Thani, has called on the dissolved parliament to carry out the necessary investigations with him and with Dignity Operation's Air Force Chief Saqr Al-Jaroushi as well, into the theft and embezzlement accusations addressed to him by the latter.

Al-Thani, in his letter to the dissolved parliament, stated that he was fully prepared to assume responsibility if the accusations against him proved true.

He also demanded that Al-Jaroushi be stopped from work and necessary legal actions to be taken against him with the right to refer the issue to the Attorney General if the charges prove untrue.

Saqr Al-Jaroushi accused Al-Thani and his advisor Mahmoud Abu Bahya of embezzling $ 200m within a $ 1.2b arms deal concluded by his government.
