The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has promised to start, on Sunday, the process of distributing pieces of land and bank loans for young people, in addition to medical insurances and salary increases for different groups of people.

Speaking at Martyrs Square in Tripoli on the 11th anniversary of February 17 revolution, Dbeibah said his government would start giving medical insurances to the retired and the rest of groups of people would follow next, adding that his government would give 50.000 plots of land via the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank and 100.000 apartments of the unfinished building projects with loans for the young Libyans.

Dbeibah said his government will raise the salaries of Interior Ministry cadres after it had done the same for healthcare and education employees, vowing to keep marriage fund allocations going and promising that martyrs’ families benefit from the reinstating of Law 01 of 2014 starting from last month (January 2022). He also confirmed that a committee was formed to follow up on the treatment of the injured inside and outside Libya with a budget of a billion dinars.

“We aim to hold elections in June and a new roadmap will be announced on Sunday. We are with the elections and against transitional periods. We call on the members of the House of Representatives and High Council of State to listen to three million people who want elections. No going back to war, or conflict or division.” He explained.
