The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah said his government had exerted efforts to support environmental reform, adding that there's no way for missing with food, medicine and environmental security, and reiterating: "Our motto is no to wars, no to destruction, and no to division. Always yes to peace."

Speaking at the National Day for Environmental Reform on Sunday, Dbeibah said the government started its efforts to provide support at the first conference on November 06, 2021 under the slogan "Unified Environmental Reform" and the work plan to inspect municipalities was announced.

Dbeibah commended the Minister of Local Governing Badr Al-Deen Al-Toumi for making the work plan for environmental reform succeed across Libya. He also hailed the Public Prosecutor who personally provided cooperation with environmental reform, in addition; Dbiebah praised the Administrative Control Authority's efforts.

"Today's celebration comes as a manifestation of the first national campaign under the slogan (Environmental Reform is Prevention..Health..Safety.) We instructed the Minister of Local Governing to upgrade the offices in the municipalities to major departments and to promote the Environmental Reform Department to a general administration." Dbeibah said.

He said they had established ten directorates across Libya, and they were linked to the courts of appeal in their tasks, in addition to working directly with lawyers to control the security, food and medicine of citizens.
