Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah instructed the Marriage Fund to add new controls in the upcoming procedures for those wishing to benefit from the marriage assistance initiative, taking into account the age of the applying person.

Addressing the rumors going on about some cases of fraud marriage, the PM called for enabling full public access to the data system of the Marriage Fund, based on the principle of transparency.

In response, the Chairman of the Fund's Management Committee underscored that the administrative and legal steps were conducted in a procedurally sound manner with no violations.

For his part, the deputy head of the Department of Civil Status briefed the PM on the workflow processes of the department, including the issuance of the registration numbers, stressing their readiness to provide data in this regard.

The meeting convened yesterday included the head of the Marriage Fund, Khaled Abu Janah, State Minister for Council of Ministers Affairs Adel Jumaa, deputy head of the Civil Status Department, director of the Internal Audit Office, and the head of the fund's financial affairs department.
