The Spokesman for the Sirte Al-Jufra Operations Room, Al-Hadi Darah, confirmed in statements to the Anadolu Agency that a group of Syrian and Sudanese mercenaries participated in the military parade of Haftar's militias in Benghazi.

According to Darah, only a few Libyans took part in the return of cash worth one thousand dinars.

"There are around three thousand Syrian mercenaries stationed at the Benina Air Base, in addition to a new batch of 1500 Sudanese mercenaries who arrived last month of Ramadan," Darah said.

The military official underscored that their intelligence officers are covering all movements in the eastern camp, including Haftar's HQ of Al-Rajm, questioning why the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army and the United Nations -the sponsor of the (5 + 5) agreement- are ignoring the happenings in eastern Libya.

Militias of Haftar held a military parade at the Benina Base in Benghazi Saturday, in which Khalifa Haftar delivered a speech confirming his readiness to wage another war.
