Commander of Ajdabiya Border Division has denied giving permission to Khalifa Haftar's militia groups to use Ajdabiya territory to launch an attack on ISIS in Sirte, refuting reports of pro-Dignity Operation media outlets which claimed that permission to the so-called "Libyan Army" was given to move to Sirte through Ajdabiya.

In a video posted on social media, Colonel Bashir Budhfira said last week's visit of Wanis Bokhmada, a military commander affiliated with Dignity Operation, to Ras Lanouf was not aimed at giving permission to Khalifa Haftar's troops to pass to Sirte through the oil crescent region.

"Colonel Wanis Bokhmada came to show support to the army and Petroleum Facilities Guard in the oil crescent region, and to express condolences and check on the health conditions of the wounded fighters," Budhfira explained.

He also declared that Khalifa Haftar-led militias do not exist in their dictionaries, in a big blow to the renegade General who uses the liberation of Sirte, despite his failure to control Benghazi, for political gains.

"We do not recognize this Dignity Operation Army, and it does not exist basically." He added.

Earlier this week, Ibrahim Jodran-led Petroleum Facilities Guard has accused Khalifa Haftar's so-called General Command of orchestrating a plot to control oil ports and fields.
