Sobratha city hosted on Wednesday the signing of a reconciliation agreement between Zintan and Al-Rijban on one hand and Sobratha, Surman, and Al-Ajilat on the other, aiming at stopping the war in the region.

Western Libya has recently been active in signing truces and reconciliation agreements all aiming at putting an end to the ongoing conflict in the region.

Last Monday a reconciliation agreement was signed between Gharyan and Al-Ragiat, which obliged both cities to push back their forces to their administrative boundaries.

Similarly, last week, Zuwara hosted a truce among its city and Al-Jmeil, Al-Issa, and Ragdalin that also ordered them to stop the armed fight and withdraw to their boundaries.
