The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj reviewed Monday securing field hospitals against Khalifa Haftar's offensive on Tripoli with the Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and deputy minister of health Mohammed Haitham as well as the head of field medical center Tariq Al-Hamshari.

The officials discussed providing field hospitals with the needed assistance and the staffers with full security, in addition to executing proficiency programs for the medics as well as the local and overseas medical treatment.

Haftar's forces targeted more than once field and public hospitals, causing casualties and destruction, such as targeting Tajoura heart center and Ibn Nafis hospital in Salah Eddine.

Haftar's forces also targeted a field hospital in Al-Sawani and another in Ain Zara, causing a number of casualties and destroying huge parts of the buildings.

This is coupled with Haftar's targeting of ambulances and paramedics near fighting zones, leaving some staffers killed and others injured.
