The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj discussed Sunday with the Italian, Algerian and European Union ambassadors to Libya the three tracks for solution to the country’s crisis: economic, political and security; as per Berlin Conference conclusions.

The meetings saw reiteration on the importance of resuming oil production and ensuring no blockades will be imposed one more time.

Al-Sarraj welcomed, speaking to the EU's ambassador, the active role of the EU in Berlin tracks and support for elections, urging the EU to take part in supervising and monitoring the elections' process.

The meeting also discussed illegal immigration and Libyan coastguard's efforts in curbing the flow of immigrants, while Al-Sarraj thanked the Algerian ambassador for his country's technical support to the Libyan electricity company.

The Algerian ambassador reiterated his country's support for dialogue as per Berlin Conference conclusions, saying Algeria is ready to play a bigger role in the three tracks of dialogue.
