The Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri said Wednesday negotiations between the two parties of the Libyan conflict are going in the right direction toward ending the transitional phase in Libya.

Speaking in a joint press conference with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Rabat, Al-Mishri said they had been working to activate the agreement on sovereign positions' selection criteria, how to hold elections and other issues in cooperation with Morocco.

He also said that the agreement reached in Bouznika with the Tobruk-based House of Representatives will bring back balance to Libya's economy, hailing Morocco's role in the negotiations.

The Moroccan Foreign Minister praised the positive stances taken by the two parties of the dialogue as they showed responsibility and chose the interest of Libyan people over other considerations.

The two parties agreed on October 06 in Morocco's Bouznika on the criteria of selecting names for sovereign state positions in Libya.
