Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush arrived on Monday in the Greek capital, Athens, to discuss developments in the Libyan peace process and the relations between Libya and Greece.

Upon her arrival, she met with her counterpart Nikos Dendias and attended an additional session that grouped officials from both sides, according to a statement by the Foreign ministry.

The discussion touched upon the possibility of benefiting from Greek expertise, in the fields of renewable energy and health, in addition to contributing to development and reconstruction projects, cooperation in reviving and maintaining ancient Greek cities, and resuming air traffic between the two countries.

Minister Dendias expressed his country's aspiration to invest in Libya and contribute to development projects and reconstruction, pointing to Athens' desire to join the Libya Stability Initiative.
