The Vice Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Hussein Al-Gotrani, reaffirmed in a meeting with east-based ministers and officials that the orders of Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah cannot be implemented without consulting him first.

The meeting saw a discussion of the results of "Cyrenaica region representatives in the government" statement which called for giving the region and its residents their rights and the implementation of the all of the political agreement articles.

"We are not calling for partition. We want all institutions to be united without exclusion. Currently, most public and government institutions in eastern Libya have no power and most institutions weren't united as agreed upon." The meeting attendees said.

Al-Gotrani said previously that forming a parallel government in eastern Libya was on the table and would be materialized if the Government of National Unity didn't answer Cyrenaica demands.
