The spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, Mohammed Al-Ghasri said the two coming days will see the forces entering the stage before the last, in a series of 12-stage operation, in the battle against IS militants in Sirte.

Briefing Al-Nabaa TV, Al-Ghasri said their forces are still fighting IS militants until today, stressing that the terrorists have two choices: turn themselves in or die inside the city when the Misrata-led forces enter and uproot them.

“IS militants are still holing up in front of Sirte hospital and parts from neighborhoods 1 and 2, barricading themselves in few areas within a 5km space.” Al-Ghasri explained.

He indicated that the forces need minesweeping tools and proper support for the injuries so that they can get efficient treatment abroad.

Relatedly, the media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos said the force advanced on three front lines in neighborhood 700 in downtown Sirte, pointing out that it clashes fiercely with the terrorists who were barricaded amongst women and children and used mortar shells to slow the forces advance into the neighborhood.
