In a statement on Sunday, the elders added that any rights would be dealt with through the legal institutions represented by the Security Directorate or through customs and traditions represented by the elders of the city.

The statement called both warring parties to stop assassinations and kidnappings, pointing out that the interlocutors would shoulder the legal and social responsibility in case of breach of terms of the agreement signed.
