Paramedic Abdulhafid Abu Dariya has been killed by an airstrike by Khalifa Haftar's warplane on an ambulance Abu Dariya was driving on Wadi Rabea frontline in southern Tripoli, the head of the crises committee of Health Ministry Fawzi Awnis said on Monday.

Awnis told reporters that the paramedic was targeted by the airstrike while he was on duty, adding that he was driving far from the clashes' zone and military positions.

This is the second attack on medical staffers by Haftar's forces in a couple of days.

On Saturday, Haftar's warplanes destroyed a field hospital on Tripoli's Airport Road, killing five doctors and injuring eight others.

The attacks on medical staffers has been condemned by many local and international voices, including the Presidential Council and its Foreign Ministry, in addition to law and humanitarian agencies which called for avoiding targeting civilians and medical personnel.

Haftar has launched his offensive on Tripoli on April 04. So far, over 1100 people have been killed and over 5000 injured, let alone the 22.000 families who got displaced from clashes' zones in southern Tripoli, according to World Health Organization.
