30th African Union Summit kicks off Sunday in Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa and Libya's crisis will be one of the most important issues to be discussed by the attendees, especially illegal immigration.

Diplomatic sources said that other crises in Africa will also be a priority for the Head of the African Union Commission Moussa Faqih, with the illegal immigration issues and its report from the Council of African Peace placed on top as of high importance.

The spokesman of Arab League's Secretary General Mahmoud Afifi said Ahmed Abu Al-Ghith will be holding meetings with leaders of African countries, especially the countries that are members of the AU's high ranking committee for Libya, which is headed by Congo's President.

The UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, will also be present in addition to the UN Secretary General António Guterres in Addis Ababa for the summit, where Salame will be holding meetings with regional stakeholders to review the Libyan dilemma.

Meanwhile, the Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohammed Sayala, also arrived Friday in Addis Ababa and he will be meeting with African leaders to discuss the crisis in Libya.

The African Union's Summit, which holds the slogan "Victory in Fighting Corruption Battle. A Sustainable Method toward Africa's Transformation," will be over on Monday.
