The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) said that the Presidential Council (PC) has exaggerated the administrative expenses without reasons justified by the public interest, which constitutes a waste of public funds.

The ACA report, released on Facebook on Wednesday, accused the PC of spending a significant amount on hotel bookings at home and abroad, without specifying the basis and controls governing this process.

The PC was also accused of expanding its leasing of private aviation and commissioning more than a travel and tourism company to book hotels and tickets, according to the report.

The ACA added that the PC lacked a plan of action on the priorities and general policies of the state, and did not issue an organizational structure to guide the PC through its work, as well as its non-compliance to transmit a copy of the minutes of its meetings following its issuance.
