Spokesman of the Libyan Army, Colonel Mohammad Qanunu

The Libyan Air Force carried out frequent airstrikes in the Sirte-Jufra zone to target Hafta's militias. At least 25 of them, including mercenaries from the Janjaweed militia have been killed in these raids, the Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Mohamed Gununu said on Friday.

Gununu explained that one of the raids targeted a gathering in the vicinity of Al-Wishka area and another destroyed an armed vehicle killing all those inside it.

The operations room of Haftar's militias in the Al-Wishka axis was also a target, in addition to an armored vehicle carrying three field commanders, according to Gununu.

In Amrah district at least eight of the Janjaweed militias supporting Haftar were killed when their vehicles were struck by the Libyan Air Force, in addition to a truck transforming fuel supplies to Haftar's forces, said Gununu.
