The Libyan Airlines company has announced the resumption of its flights to Saudi Arabia, Jeddah, and Jordan’s capital, Amman, after the suspension that took place Monday morning.

The resumption of the two flights, scheduled Monday morning, came hours after the strike of the Airbus 330 pilots of the Libyan Airlines.

“The flights to Amman and Jeddah have been cancelled this morning due to the strike of the pilots over some administrative procedures.” The Head of the Media Bureau at the Libyan Airlines company indicated earlier.

It is worth mentioning that the pilots’ strike comes amid many administrative problems between the employees and the airliner, especially the delay of salaries payment for the employees of the western region.

The Libyan Airlines has been split into two administrations; the main office is still operating in Tripoli while the government of Abdullah Al-Thani has set up a parallel one in the eastern city of Benghazi, which caused administrative division in the company between Benghazi and Tripoli.
