The Municipal Council of Zuwara, announced on Wednesday, that several trucks crossed the Ras Ajdair border with Tunisia without any coordination with the ‘emergency room’, set up to combat the Coronavirus pandemic in that municipality.
It went on to state that no sample tests for analysis were taken from the drivers of the trucks, and this is in direct contrast to all necessary health measures called for by the municipality.
Zuwara Municipality also expressed its inability to provide quarantine and isolation services to drivers, despite several repeated promises from the relevant authorities to provide the wherewithal for these vital services.
