The Zuwara Municipality signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), responsible for managing US foreign aid to civilians, as part of a joint project funded by the Agency.

According to a statement by the Municipality of Zuwara, the agreement, known as the Citizen’s Charter, aims to provide services to citizens and draws up policies and procedures related to the improvement of services within Municipalities.

In the initial year, work will be devoted to repairing and maintenance of local roads, including the provision of road maintenance equipment and essential training to enable a team from the municipality to conduct urgent maintenance work.
