On her first visit to Sabha city since assuming her new position, the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams described the city as "the heart of the south, and the meeting point of the various components of Libyan society”.
“I hope that the people of the south enjoy the benefits of their land and that everyone fully respects their rights without derogation or marginalization, with full commitment to the principles of coexistence, citizenship, partnership and social justice”, Williams tweeted.
