New wildfires broke out on Sunday evening in the palm groves of the Mouradah area as a result of high winds and the changing of their direction.
The fire brigades of the Sirte Company for Production and Processing of Oil and Gas controlled the fire on Sunday morning and confined it to a limited area as firefighters continued attempts to prevent the fire from spreading according to the official Facebook page of the Sirte Company Fire Group.
